We're representing a high growth tech licensing firm who've doubled their revenue in the last year. Future plans look just as exciting and they're looking to expand internationally. They operate in a niche market which will be a huge draw for some, and you'll have oversight of a multi-disciplined team working on Mobile, Web and some eCom products.

A critical hire in their Senior Management team, you'll take the lead on all aspects of managing a high performing team and there's an opportunity to remain hands on to some extent when required.

The company works on a mix of products licensed out to their clients across the UK and you'll provide mentorship, strategic direction, architecture, product leadership and planning. It's important you remain hands on to a degree to ensure a high standard of output and you'll be passionate about delivering quality software.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable software.
  • Define and execute technical strategy around systems with a focus on performance, reliability.
  • Work cross-functionally on mobile, web and commerce projects.
  • Champion best practices across the department.
  • Remain technically involved through code reviews, architectural guidance, and complex problem-solving.

A background in Software Engineering, preferably with experience with Typescript, AWS, React/Vue/Node domain. Proven track record of leading engineering teams in fast-paced, distributed environments. Deep technical knowledge in Javascript, Mobile and Web, cloud-native development (ideally AWS), Microservices and Data project work.

You'll join a team during a phase of rapid expansion which brings a huge amount of opportunity. This is a first hire in a Senior Management position and offers a real chance to make a significant impact.
