As part of our Category 3 EPPP Academy, you’ll have the opportunity to work with talented young players, implementing our player-focused coaching philosophy while gaining experience in a professional football setting. We have vacancies in both the Foundation Phase and the Youth Development Phase. Practical and formal interviews will take place from the beginning of the 2025-2026 season, starting in July. The Club: Swindon is the hub of football for all of Wiltshire, being the only professional team in the county. Founded in 1879, we entered the footballing world as Swindon AFC, later becoming Spartans and finally Swindon Town FC in 1883. The club turned professional in 1894 as a founder of the Southern League and competed in the Western League. Recent history includes high moments such as winning the EFL Trophy with Don Rogers, competing in European competitions in the 1970s, and gaining promotion to the Premier League in the early 1990s. Our successes continued through the 2000s with league wins in 2012 and 2020. The club values community and local people, reflected in our core values of Industry, Adventure, and Humility.

We are a highly ambitious Category 3 academy with a vision to grow our programme and support youth development across various disciplines. The Role:- Support the development of young players on and off the pitch, aligned with academy values and syllabus.
- Be flexible to meet additional requirements within the role.
