Holt Engineering is working with a technical and innovative Electronics manufacturer based in Fareham.

We are seeking a keen and technically-minded Trainee Electronic Tester to join our quality assurance team.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Identify and document faults, failures, and non-conformities.
  • Use DVMs (Digital Voltmeters) and Power Supplies for testing.
  • Interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and test procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience in PCB testing or related electronics testing.
  • Experience working with PCBs in assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Full-time, Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, with early finish on Fridays at 12:30 pm.
  • Temporary to Permanent contract.
  • Pay rate from £12.75 per hour.
