Holt Engineering is working with a technical and innovative Electronics manufacturer based in Fareham.
We are seeking a keen and technically-minded Trainee Electronic Tester to join our quality assurance team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Identify and document faults, failures, and non-conformities.
- Use DVMs (Digital Voltmeters) and Power Supplies for testing.
- Interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and test procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in PCB testing or related electronics testing.
- Experience working with PCBs in assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documents.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
Working Hours and Benefits:
- Full-time, Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, with early finish on Fridays at 12:30 pm.
- Temporary to Permanent contract.
- Pay rate from £12.75 per hour.
