About the role:
Our nationwide Plant and Tool division hires a range of equipment including diggers, dumpers, and small tools to our customers across the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. Working in the heart of the depot, the Labourer Driver is responsible for keeping the workshop and yard areas clean and tidy, ensuring these areas are free of hazards and that tools are stored correctly. The Labourer Driver is also responsible for ensuring that any plant equipment leaving the depot has been pressure cleaned, refuelled, and that fuel logs are updated accurately. Additionally, your role will include loading, delivering, and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner. When on customer sites, there may be a requirement to carry out hire equipment demonstrations, and you must ensure that all relevant checks and administrative tasks are completed accurately.
About You:
- Previous experience working in a labourer role, preferably within a hire depot/yard environment
- Strong team player who is willing to support colleagues with additional tasks when required
- Ability to work on your own initiative in a fast-paced depot environment while maintaining high attention to detail
- Full driving licence is essential; a CSCS card and forklift licence are preferable
