MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST Vacancy – Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays, 8 am to 6 pm. Alford Medical Group currently has a vacancy for a friendly, helpful, and motivated Medical Receptionist to work as part of our team. Must have experience with GP software such as Vision, Docman, and Excel. Some flexibility in hours of work is required, as different or additional hours may be needed to cover holiday or illness, by mutual agreement.

Duties

  • Dealing with patient appointments at reception and on the phone
  • Registering and maintaining patient records
  • Handling patient queries, including requests for prescriptions, test results, and general information
  • Using software such as Vision, Docman, SCI, Word, Excel, etc.
  • General administration tasks
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time

Salary depends on experience. You will be eligible for membership of the NHS pension scheme.
