As we expand our business by opening our brand new office space, Cotteswold Dairy are looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join our existing team. This role plays an essential part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our production facility, offices, public areas, and staff facilities. Working with a variety of cleaning chemicals and tools, you’ll help us meet our company’s strict food safety and hygiene standards.
Summary
- Days worked: Monday - Saturday
- Hours: 37.5 hours, five shifts per week
- Shift Times: 0600 - 1400, 1200 - 2000
- Please note that a degree of flexibility is required for these shifts
Main Duties & Responsibilities - Cleaner
- General cleaning of the factory, offices, and public areas, including toilets, restrooms, and canteen areas.
- Responsibility for managing consumables, such as soap, sterilant, and PPE.
- Washing, sorting, and storing of company personnel workwear.
- Stock control and logging of workwear and PPE issued to employees.
- Communicate any issues promptly and follow company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
Skills & Experience - Cleaner
- Eye for detail to ensure cleanliness, accuracy, and precision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
- Previous experience working in a role with high hygiene standards.
- Flexible and able to work varying shift patterns, including tight schedules.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a dairy or food production setting.
Important Notes
- This role requires manual handling and adherence to strict hygiene standards.
- Due to food hygiene regulations only one solid wedding band is permitted. No earrings, studs, bracelets, necklaces, makeup, strong smelling deodorants or perfumes are permitted in the production area.
- Reliable transportation to the Tewkesbury site is necessary, as public transport may not align with shift times.
