Kitchen Assistant – Webbs, Cheltenham

We have a fantastic opportunity for two experienced Kitchen Assistants to join our Hospitality team at our garden centre restaurant in Cheltenham.

The role involves supporting our Chefs to produce a range of menu items from scratch using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. We serve hot breakfasts and lunches to order, plus snacks throughout the day. Your responsibilities will include washing up, food preparation, and providing cover for our chefs.

Webbs offers a great environment to gain experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting. This role is suitable for an experienced Kitchen Assistant or Chef.

This is a full-time, permanent position, averaging 37.5 hours per week on a 2-week rota. The schedule involves working four weekdays plus every alternate weekend (4 days one week, with a weekday and weekend off; 6 days the following week, including both weekend days).

The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen or hospitality experience, pride in delivering excellent customer service, and ideally some customer-facing experience. Knowledge of food hygiene and allergen awareness is advantageous; full training will be provided.

The role is based at our store in Cheltenham, so candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance.
