We are looking for a full-time receptionist to join our friendly team at Market vets. This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy practice where you will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering excellent client and patient care.

The Receptionist Role

The following responsibilities include:

Warmly greeting clients and their pets with a friendly, compassionate, and helpful demeanour
Efficiently managing the diary to maximise appointment slots, handle online bookings, and address emergencies while maintaining client records in compliance with GDPR
Answering busy phone lines, emails, and other client communications
Registering clients for the Pet Health Club
Processing payments

About Us

We offer a vibrant workplace where you will be joining an enthusiastic and motivated team. You will join a friendly, caring and progressive team of 11 Receptionists, 14 Veterinary Surgeons, 15 Registered Veterinary Nurses.

Applicant Requirements

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, while also thriving in a team setting. Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and is eager to contribute to a collaborative and supportive practice.

Your Shift Pattern

The position is for 37.5 hrs a week over five days which will include Saturday\’s on a rota basis.
