We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our Bulk Planning team based in Belfast. As a bulk planner the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely management, planning and delivery of orders to our customers\’ sites. Building relationships with our customers and Key Stake holders (Drivers, Transport Managers, Sales and Customer Engineering Team). Main Responsibilities: Plan efficient and structured Bulk delivery schedules using our digital logistics tools in order to maximise cost efficiencies. Identify issues and providing problem solving solutions, implementing solutions, and evaluating their effectiveness Manage Bulk Gas orders in line with our customer demands. Monitor failed deliveries to proactively prevent future instances. Ensure customer data is accurate and up-to-date. Ensure that health and safety of yourself and your colleagues is a priority in everything that you do – log Health and Safety conversations, as appropriate focusing on either an ‘unsafe condition\’ where we see something that could cause injury to a person or an ‘unsafe act\’ which is something that someone does that can lead to injury When required manage driver rotas and schedules in accordance with Driver Hours & Working Time directive Support other scheduling areas when required and other functions within the department as part of a multi-functional team environment Carry out trip reconciliation with a high-level attention to detail and action discrepancies in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with customers, drivers and other key members/departments. On-call duties to be carried out on a rotational basis Available to answer calls on all lines as part of a multi-functional team environment Dealing with customer queries and placing Bulk Orders over the telephone. Be willing to take part in project work either departmental or cross functional Complete departmental reporting as and when required Ad hoc duties as directed by your manager Requirements Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service Strong attention to detail Team player with a can do attitude Great planning and organising skills Knowledge of Transport and Working Time Directive Regulations Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Outlook and Excel Experience using Business Central and CRM is a distinct advantage but not essential Experience with working towards targets (both personal and team targets) Proven track record at delivering results in a timely and professional manner, Excellent communication skills Ability to work under pressure and multi-task within a bust logistics/transport environment. Can work using own initiative and have a logical and methodical approach to work.
