Our client is one of the market leaders undertaking a Tech transformation focussed on automation and digital tools to drive efficiency across all aspects of their operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic professional who is keen to grow and develop their skills in managing the supplier portfolio in technology, identifying opportunities to drive innovation and to extract value from third party spend in terms of cost and service.
The jobholder will provide a Supplier Relationship Management capability; by operating supporting internal capacity to ensure that business units are managing their suppliers in line with a 'best-practice' SRM methodology. This includes maximising the value from third party spend and continued development of SRM process and tools which ensure a consistent approach to external vendor management. In turn the jobholder will be tasked with managing a portfolio of business critical, Tier 1, Tier 2 Technology suppliers - seeking out opportunities to drive innovation and to extract value in terms of cost and service for key stakeholders.
Experience:
- Demonstrate IT Sourcing, SRM or Vendor Management experience
- Experience of managing suppliers gained in a 'blue-chip' environment, demonstrating experience of maximising the value from third party spend
- Experience of supplier risk management
- Excellent communication skills with an excellent track record of stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrable experience of utilising SRM process, policy and tools
- Degree or CIPS qualified
