Role
As the Renewal Sales Representative, you will manage and sell Term, Cloud, and perpetual license renewals of Splunk's industry-leading software. You will work closely with Sales and Success Management teams to improve retention, minimise churn risk, and drive growth. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully renewing Term Licences and/or Cloud Subscriptions with growth, and building positive relationships with customers, account management teams, and channel partners.
Location
UK, Lisbon preferred, but Italy and Spain may also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Manage a sales territory (including Israel and possibly other countries), with individual renewal rate targets for contracts and growth.
- Meet or exceed renewal rate and retention targets.
- Engage with the broader account team, partners, and customer health data to identify renewal risks and collaborate on remedial actions to secure on-time renewals.
- Identify expansion opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and drive these opportunities to closure or coordinate with account management to maximise revenue.
- Maintain accurate records within Salesforce and other data sources, and manage ongoing customer interactions.
- Manage renewals from opportunity to invoice, understanding pricing and contractual obligations.
- Consistently deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts through effective opportunity management.
- Proactively identify issues impacting renewals and engage resources to resolve them.
- Track non-renewals, pending renewals, and reasons for cancellations.
- Support operational processes to improve renewal efficiency, effectiveness, and insights.
Requirements
- Experience in sales or renewals within a SaaS organization, with a proven ability to meet or exceed retention and growth targets.
- Ability to demonstrate business value through data, networking, app development, and analytics technologies.
- Confident, polished communication skills suitable for engaging with C-level executives.
- Ability to collaborate across functions to ensure customer adoption, value realization, and satisfaction.
- Experience in team selling with sales, customer success, pre-sales, partners, and services.
- Experience working with both direct customers and channel sales models.
- Ability to assess customer health and mitigate renewal risks well in advance of renewal dates.
- Strong relationship-building skills, understanding customer needs, and communicating product and service value effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, proactive work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset, willing to support and grow with colleagues.
- Strong product knowledge, system understanding, and pipeline management skills.
- Fluency in English; Hebrew language skills are a plus.
