A small/medium specialist engineering company situated in Aldermaston is currently seeking a precision assembler who will primarily be working in the Manufacturing and Calibration department. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who works well on their own but is also a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly and calibration of Pressure Transducers.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly both by hand and using tools (Analogue/Digital Output).
- Assessment, Repair and Recalibration of Transducers.
- Preparing cables/wires and fitting electrical connectors.
- Calibration by using Dead weights and Machines.
- Configuration and calibration of Analogue and Digital electronics, using power supplies and digital volt meters (DVMs).
Experience / Qualifications:
- Essential: Soldering and wiring experience (IPC-610).
- Electrical and Mechanical assembly experience.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Fast learner and able to communicate well.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Able to demonstrate working with Standard Operating Procedures.
