Our client is an industry leader providing financial software for thousands of customers. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic National (UK) Sales Manager to drive their new software product release sales efforts across the UK region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SaaS or financial software sales, and the ability to drive revenue growth by establishing and nurturing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Developing new customer accounts and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Implementing business strategies to position software solutions in the banking and financial sectors.
- Overseeing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and ongoing customer engagement.
- Opportunity to grow into the sales track or the business development track based on career interest.
About You:
- Confident communicator, self-starter, and adept at dealing with all levels of clients.
- Self-motivated to find influencers and purchase decision makers for the software product.
- Driven and resilient salesperson experienced in proactively prospecting and closing new sales opportunities.
- Experience in a high performing SaaS or software sales role in the financial services industry or knowledge of data systems including Bloomberg or London Stock Exchange data.
- Working closely with teams in Marketing, IT, Events, Data and Analytics to ensure a joined-up programme of sales activities.
- 3+ years of experience in software sales/business development.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing successful go-to-market strategies.
- Experience selling to executive management and C-level stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, business planning, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.

- Quarterly sales forecast accuracy.
- Number of customer visits and solution demonstrations.
- Value of sales opportunities created quarterly.
