Sales Administrator Location: London Department: Sales Contract type: Permanent Hours: 37.5 Salary: £18,000 – £30,000 dependent on experience We are looking for an experienced sales administrator to join our Sales team. If you are highly organised with a confident telephone manner and can consistently deliver high quality customer service, within a technology-based environment then this may be the ideal position for you. This is a full time position with a requirement to attend the London office 2 days a week. We are also happy to consider part time working across our core hours, Mon – Fri 09:00 – 15:00 What’s my mission? Working with our Sales Team, and co-ordinating with our engineers and finance team, no one day will be the same, but some of the main duties include: Liaising with external customer enquiries to establish initial sales requirements. Responding to all customer email enquiries within agreed SLA timescale. Utilising company communication tools to support additional upselling opportunities. Respond to purchase orders, raise invoices with the Accounts Department and log onto the ordering system. Following up on new marketing leads, allocating to the relevant Account Manager. Contacting customers to promote group Products or Services, or to engage with customers whose contract is due for review. Providing sales quotes for core business products. Ensure any outstanding support tickets are escalated to the Service Team. Building interdepartmental relationships and liaising with our Service Delivery team to ensure that the customer requirements are fulfilled. Who/What will I be working with? You will be joining a fantastic people focused, values led business. Our business is growing rapidly and 2025 will be very busy. There has never been a better time to join us! You will be working with a small and friendly Sales team, working closely with our Account Managers across the group and liaising our service delivery teams. You will be liaising with our customers, predominantly via the phone, but will also be confident with email communication and face to face communication. What do I need? As you will be working within a team environment and speaking to customers daily, then your communication and customer service skills must be very strong. A good work ethic and level of professionalism and a desire to develop your skills will also be required. You will pride yourself in delivering outstanding customer service. In addition, you will need to be: Highly organised and have the ability to work on multiple tasks at once. Happy to work autonomously and you are organised when managing your own workload. Due to the nature of your work, you will be required to attend our London office 2 days a week. Able to identify when a problem may require escalation. Have excellent time management and priority determination skills Ability to instantaneously build rapport and develop and maintain relationships both with clients and internally with the Telappliant Team Ideally you will have worked with Salesforce, or other similar CRM systems Ideally you will have worked within a Telecoms or MSP business before.
