NDT Radiographer Duties
- Conduct radiography using DR and CT systems to detect anomalies in rocket and cartridge assemblies
- Perform leak testing using a helium mass spectrometer
- Interpret engineering drawings, ATPs and test documentation to ensure compliance
- Maintain records and provide data analysis where required
- Collaborate with production, QA/QC and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
- Support explosive safety standards, audits and risk assessments
- Drive 5S and continuous improvement culture within the NDT department
NDT Radiographer Profile
- ASNT Level 1 Radiographer certification is essential
- Previous experience in NDT roles (aerospace, defence, automotive, etc.)
- Confident using digital X-ray equipment and interpreting technical drawings
- Comfortable performing self-inspection and data logging (SAP experience ideal)
- Reliable, methodical and safety-conscious with a proactive mindset
- Strong verbal communication and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
