We are seeking a data analyst to join our team to help buildcountry-risk indicators for a period of 12 months.
The role:
The successful candidate will contribute to the developmentof country risk indices.
We’ll trust you to:

Builda range of country-level risk indices using large datasets, incollaboration with other colleagues in Bloomberg Economics.

Buildsolutions to keep those indices up to date using APIs and automatedscripts
-
Contributeto the development of visualization tools to display those indices

Fromtime to time, collaborate with our Geoeconomics team to publish analysisfeaturing the country risk indices on the Bloomberg Terminal
You’ll need to have:

Experienceworking with Python to analyze large datasets, call APIs and visualizedata in charts and dashboards

Experiencecollaborating on data projects as part of a team using Git

Basicknowledge of software engineering best practices (e.g., writingmaintainable and scalable code, testing, code review…)

Englishproficiency

Academicor professional experience of applying statistical and econometric methodsto analyzing data

Experienceapplying quantitative methods to topics related to political science,environmental science or economics
