Job Summary
As a qualified Nursing Associate, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing support to help young people recover from eating disorders. You will contribute to high-quality nursing care for inpatients and their families, working within the nursing process and delivering treatment under supervision.
Key Accountabilities
- Work with awareness of Junior Marzipan guidelines for eating disorder treatment.
- Follow the requirements of the Mental Health Act and Children Act.
- Contribute to specialist assessment of eating disorders in young people under supervision.
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Assist in developing and staffing therapeutic groups.
- Maintain respectful relationships with carers and families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
- Manage therapeutic meal provision.
- Ensure safe storage and administration of medicines and equipment.
- Demonstrate safeguarding principles in dealings with young people and families.
