Job Summary

As a qualified Nursing Associate, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing support to help young people recover from eating disorders. You will contribute to high-quality nursing care for inpatients and their families, working within the nursing process and delivering treatment under supervision.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work with awareness of Junior Marzipan guidelines for eating disorder treatment.
  • Follow the requirements of the Mental Health Act and Children Act.
  • Contribute to specialist assessment of eating disorders in young people under supervision.
  • Establish therapeutic relationships with patients.
  • Assist in developing and staffing therapeutic groups.
  • Maintain respectful relationships with carers and families.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Manage therapeutic meal provision.
  • Ensure safe storage and administration of medicines and equipment.
