How you’ll play your part

We’re looking for someone passionate and driven, who understands the Macro and Micro environment that surrounds the ever-changing world post-BREXIT. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting continued communication with, and the interpretation of, the external macro environment. Working closely with UK Government and trade and industry to build a detailed understanding of the legislative landscape affecting the sale of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. With key focus on regulation and Governmental strategy/funding, you’ll apply your comprehensive knowledge of the regulatory landscape to better position our corporate strategy and future regulatory position regarding vehicle emissions and the transition from ICE to fully electric. You’ll be confident in establishing professional relationships and a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape surrounding all aspects that could affect passenger car sales within the UK market. Working closely with the Head of Product Management you’ll act as a ‘Subject Matter Expert’ for all Governmental initiatives on the evolving UK Homologation/Type Approval and regulatory landscape. You’ll ensure we can maintain our abilities to register vehicles under new GB Type approval legislation while also ensuring compliance with legal requirements for the purposes of Homologation. You’ll represent MB UK with UK Government and spend time building and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

At Mercedes-Benz UK, we operate with integrity and therefore you are required to maintain ethical standards in accordance with Mercedes-Benz AG Policies and the Company's Compliance Guidelines and Policies including Anti-Bribery and all relevant competition law.

What’s in it for you

As well as the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, with a great team, we’ll offer you a competitive salary and discretionary bonus structure. We also hope you’ll love our products as much as we do, with access to our colleague car schemes. On top of that, you’ll be able to join our pension scheme and you’ll get a flexible benefit pot that can be used to find the benefits that are right for you. We are pleased to be able to offer a hybrid working approach – achieving a great balance between remote and office working. We’re here to support you – we offer access to colleague wellbeing resources, including an Employee Assistance Programme and Mental health First Aiders, as well as flexible opportunities to support work life balance. We’ll also encourage your development, with the training and knowledge you need to reach your potential.
