We are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Shunter Drivers to work for our client at East Midlands Gateway. As a Shunter driver you will ensure yard movements are done correctly and support the smooth running of the operation.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 3 shift rotation - 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm / 10pm to 6am
The successful Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will:
- Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
- Have a valid tacho and DQC card
- Previous experience preferred but training provided
- Have a positive can do attitude
Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will include:
- Moving trailers or units around the yard
- Ensure safety of others in the yard
You will receive:
- Days - £16.38 per hour
- Days OT - £24.57 per hour
- Nights - £18.75 per hour
- Nights OT - £28.12 per hour
