Do you have a NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent? Have you accumulated a minimum of 5 years Aesthetics experience?
Leo Recruits are searching for an Advanced Aesthetic Therapist with a minimum NVQ Level 3, preferred NVQ Level 4 qualification and experience working in an aesthetics clinic. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled practitioner with a deep understanding of a variety of advanced aesthetic treatments, including laser therapies, radio-frequency devices, and complex skin rejuvenation procedures.
The Advanced Aesthetic Therapist position is a multifaceted role that involves:
- Handling reception duties
- Managing phone calls
- Taking payments
- Addressing new patient inquiries
- Booking appointments
- Providing general information
- Welcoming patients
- Performing various administrative tasks
- Assisting the senior doctor when needed
The successful therapist will play a crucial role in the team, performing bespoke treatments and providing expert consultations that cater to the needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver radio-frequency treatments for both face and body
- Perform a wide range of laser procedures, including skin rejuvenation, resurfacing, pigmentation correction, vascular treatments, and texture improvement using state-of-the-art technology
- Perform laser hair removal sessions
- Design and administer customised facial treatments
- Conduct thorough skin consultations and new patient assessments, creating personalised treatment plans
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Obagi and iS Clinical products, providing informed recommendations to enhance treatment outcomes and support patient skincare regimes
- Work closely with our medical team, including providing assistance to our Medical Director when required
- Efficiently organise and manage your own workload, maintaining exemplary time management to meet the demands of a busy clinic environment
- Effectively sell treatments and products
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent
- Significant experience in an aesthetics/ beauty clinic (5 years), with a strong portfolio of advanced treatments
- In-depth knowledge of laser and radio-frequency devices
- Competence in performing skin consultations and developing treatment plans
- Familiarity with Obagi and iS Clinical products is preferred
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and provide outstanding patient care
- Proven ability to sell treatments and products, with a patient-centred approach
