For this role, we are seeking electrical engineers with expertise in multiple fields, including analog and/or digital circuit design, FPGA design and verification, and embedded software. This position allows for some work from home but will be primarily on site at our Broomfield, Colorado location. Key Responsibilities: Work in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment Develop a complex electronic control system capable of controlling digital, analog, and RF signals Perform circuit design and analysis, embedded software development, and/or FPGA design and verification Collaborate with scientists and engineers to define new concepts and technologies used to control quantum computers Work closely with FPGA developers to implement these concepts then validate them on internal developmental testbeds Evaluate new software and hardware technologies to improve the control of Quantum Computers Lead design teams to complete projects on-time with first-pass success YOU MUST HAVE: Bachelor’s degree minimum Minimum 8+ years of experience in digital board design including schematic capture and layout Minimum 5+ years of experience working in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People\’s Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
