Our client is seeking an Interim Head of Legal for a 12-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established UK business with significant national infrastructure and strong private equity backing. The role offers the chance to oversee legal strategy, manage risk across the business and support a range of commercial and corporate activity during a critical period of change and delivery. What you\’ll do: As the Interim Head of Legal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company\’s future. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the main legal advisor to the Executive Team and Board. You will lead and manage the in-house legal team, providing strategic guidance and oversight. Your expertise will be called upon for advice on a wide range of commercial matters, including major contracts, regulatory issues, and corporate projects. You will also support business-critical transformation initiatives and contribute to high-level strategic planning. Liaising with external counsel where appropriate, you will ensure cost-effective legal resource management. Act as the primary legal advisor to the Executive Team and Board.
