About this role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Talent Acquisition Team, on a temporary basis to cover 12 months maternity leave. You’ll be responsible for recruiting high volumes of candidates for our Customer Facing Teams in Operations (Fraud, Collection and Complaints).

What you’ll do

  • Work closely with the business to understand recruitment needs across our Customer Facing teams, post adverts, screen CVs, conduct telephone screening calls and schedule assessment days.
  • Proactively source candidates for key priority areas of immediate demand.
  • Plan and manage your time effectively to screen a high volume of potential candidates to progress to interview.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs to be able to recruit effectively for their hiring requirements.
  • Identify new channels and methods to attract talent to Capital One.
  • Have great conversations with potential candidates about life at Capital One and provide good insight into the role you’re recruiting for.
  • Make offers to successful candidates and provide balanced feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
  • At times, support hiring for other business areas, depending on demand.

  • Highly organized, with a natural sense of urgency to respond quickly to candidates and Hiring Managers.
  • Manage multiple priorities and track progress by recording accurate data.
  • Effective and confident communication skills, as you will represent Capital One to candidates.
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset, contributing ideas and discussing opportunities in team meetings.

Where and how you'll work

This position will be based in our Nottingham offices. We have a hybrid working model offering flexibility to work from home and the office. You'll be in our Nottingham office 3 days a week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Flexible working arrangements are available and open for discussion.
