- Support and advocate Highway Authority, Corporate Joint Committee and TfW led active travel project designs that balance local needs and constraints with technical approaches and compliance, by providing design review services and liaising with clients' officers on schemes to provide a high quality stakeholder function, delivering impactful street design and active travel outcomes.
- Develop and maintain sensitive relationships with stakeholders, by leading creative, collaborative and compassionate engagement processes to manage reputational risks to TfW and by extension Welsh Government, as well as to manage project, partner and place specific risks.
- Support further development of the Active Travel Act Guidance by gathering, sharing and applying best practice from projects across the TfW team, Strategic Road Network (SRN) and local authority partners to improve the quality, cost and effectiveness of the active travel infrastructure in Wales.
