Job Description
Position: Full time, permanent role offering 37 hours per week between the hours of 08:00-16:00 Monday – Thursday, 8-15:30 Friday.

We are currently growing and developing our existing maintenance team and are looking for experienced Trade Engineers.
Our team carry out repairs on around 19,000 customer homes within the Coventry area.
We are currently seeking experienced trades engineers within all trades to carry out day to day reactive repairs within our customers’ homes.

As a trade engineer within the reactive repairs department one of the key roles for these opportunities is to engage in high levels of customer service as well as offering your trade experience and knowledge to our wide range of diverse customers.

In housing you can make a real difference, the role of a Trade Engineer Plumber will involve:
- Conducting reactive repairs within customers’ homes
- Dealing with emergencies that could be a threat to life and property as well as routine maintenance.
- Carry out larger scale works as and when necessary (bathroom upgrade)
- Conducting repairs as part of Damp and Mould Works and/or Disrepair Works
- Responding to prearranged repair appointments
- To actively drive and promote a first-time fix repairs culture
- Be forthcoming with new ideas and solutions to improve our service offering
As a Trade Engineer Plumber you must have:
- A relevant qualification in one core trade (Plumbering)
- Experience and working knowledge within multiple trades beyond your core trade
- Conscientious and aware of Health and Safety
- Driving licence
- Excellent communication skills and a customer focus
