Your Role
- Be an integral part of the Project Management and Enabling Technologies team, as the Production Technology Project Manager you will play a critical role as main point of contact for the production teams based in the UK.
- Lead calls with productions based on the phase of the show: pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Assist in communicating needs, break-fixes, and issues that productions have to technology engineers to deliver/fix.
- Lead coordination with other project managers and business resources to assign tasks to the Studio Technology engineers in the USA and ensure tasks are completed by production timeline.
- Lead multiple shows and concurrent technology initiatives throughout their lifecycle. This includes project intake, use case definition, charter and scope definition, project plan development, capacity allocations, resource assignment, project execution, and post mortems.
- Ensure clear reporting of project status from project teams including: timelines, milestone tracking, budget status and issue identification to program management and stakeholders.
- Create workflow diagrams of production technology processes and identify opportunities to streamline processes or improve efficiency.
What you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Previous experience working in a Content Creation/Production environment.
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, utilizing waterfall and agile methodology.
- 3+ years of experience managing a diverse portfolio of projects reflecting a wide range of technologies, complexities, and duration.
- Experience working in cross-functional technical teams, including architects, infrastructure and data engineers, software developers, system reliability engineers, storage engineers, audio/visual or post-production engineers to meet expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
- Project management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira.
- Ability to create workflow drawings and process maps utilizing Lucidchart.
