We are looking for a talented and experienced .NET Core + Azure Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET Core 6+, C#, Azure services, and a deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures. You will be expected to provide architectural guidance, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute hands-on to the development process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and develop scalable, secure applications using .NET Core 6+ and Azure.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs using industry best practices.
  • Utilize Entity Framework or Dapper for efficient database interactions.
  • Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and object-oriented concepts to development.
  • Develop microservices-based solutions with event-driven architecture.
  • Implement unit tests using frameworks like Xunit or Nunit to ensure application quality.
  • Manage and design cloud infrastructure on Azure using services such as Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
  • Work with MS SQL Server to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions.
  • Stay current on Azure and .NET Core advancements, incorporating new best practices into solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in an architectural role.
  • Proficiency in .NET Core 6+ and C#.
  • Strong expertise in REST API development and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Entity Framework (EF) Core or Dapper.
  • In-depth knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • Familiarity with dependency injection and IoC containers.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Service Bus, Functions, and SQL.
  • Strong skills in MS SQL Server, including database design and performance tuning.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (Xunit or Nunit).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
