The financial services industry continues to undergo a period of unparalleled change. Since the financial crisis, banks and financial institutions have been subjected to more stringent regulations, increased supervision and overall global economic instability. These changes have not come without a cost and have made these institutions re-evaluate the way they have been doing business traditionally. Moreover, the proliferation of technological advances including disruptive technologies and digital innovations are compounding the pressures of maintaining market edge, being adaptable and increasing profit margins.
The EY FinTech Lab works with the world’s leading Financial Institutions and directly with best-in-class FinTechs from across the Global Ecosystem, to help create the future of Financial Services. For Banks and incumbent FS, the Lab offers direct access and support to rapidly engage and experiment and to help bring the best ideas and opportunities to market, positively impacting the lives of their customers and society as a whole.
