You will create strategic technical vision and blueprints to support outcomes that drive productivity, scalability and value. You will also develop necessary budgets based on these activities. About you… You will be skilled at identifying pain points and designing or modifying technical solutions to solve company problems. The solution architect will be deeply involved in daily work across all business units, regularly interacting with both stakeholders and subject matter experts. You will have a hands-on nature when it comes to projects and technology delivery, working closely with business partners and project managers. You will have a passion for technology and design, be a strong innovator, happy to challenge established ways of working and proficient translating business challenges into technical solutions. You will have subject matter expertise in one or many domain skills ie Networks, Productivity & Collaboration tools, Cloud, Edge, OT, IIOT, Data, Analytics, OT (scada, cyber, PLCs), Applications (ie ERP etc). You should demonstrate ability to work well internally across the other domains from Business, Data & Application leadership. You will adhere to AMO objectives of precedence, sequencing and requirements and not scheduling. You will deliver against and contribute to activity across the 18-month solution roadmap. The role… Maintain the technology architecture roadmap aligned with business goals. Partner with stakeholders to design all solutions Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. Ensure solutions meet business requirements, considering factors like value, productivity gains, scalability, supportability and appropriateness. Ensure key artifacts are in place from principles, strategy, policies/standards, high- and low-level designs Lead the end-to-end technology solutions for the enterprise Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools to support the designed solutions Develop architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, and integration strategies Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and compliance Communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Work closely with other domain leads, business leads and external vendors on strategic and/or transformation initiatives Act as a trusted advisor to executives, business leaders, and IT teams Key requirements… Highly experienced in technology architecture (ideally 8 years +) Financial and budget management Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), networks, edge platforms, productivity & collaboration solutions OT and IIOT technology experience is desirable Experience in enterprise systems, distributed architectures, and data-driven solutions. Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. A medium-term thinker focused the right delivery decisions Ideally with FMCG or CPG organisations practicing enterprise architecture. Certifications such asAWS/Azure Strong knowledge of ERP, CRM, digital platforms, cloud, and automation technologies. Understanding of the industry and its specific challenges and opportunities.
