Our client is one of the UK’s oldest drylining companies, with offices nationwide. As a conglomerate of business units, they’ve strategically spread their contractual risk, ensuring financial strength and stability. After 80 years in the industry, they are cash-rich, well-established, and ready to continue their growth, unlike many subcontractors who have been wiped out by main contractors.

Finding experienced Project Managers in drylining isn’t easy. It’s rare to find a true Project Manager who can manage large £10M+ drylining projects on design and build contracts with technically complex scope of works. It’s even rarer to find one who can programme with ASTA or Microsoft Projects, understands droplines, and holds an NVQ Level 6 or 7. If you have all of that plus a SEATS Certification, you’re basically a unicorn.

Their current Project Management team brings a wealth of experience, but some are nearing the end of their careers, or may not have the full senior-level expertise you bring. This is your chance to step in, bring your experience, and make a real impact within a growing, dynamic business. The sky’s the limit with this role.

While many drylining companies operate with flat, owner-managed structures, our client is shaking things up with a structured senior management team. This role offers clear progression into Contract Manager, or, if you’re driven and talented, they’ll even build a new business unit around you with the potential to step into Directorship. Their entire Senior Management team started from the ground up, either on the tools or as trainees, so they truly know how to nurture and promote talent from within.

With great rewards come high expectations. As a Project Manager you will need extensive drylining knowledge with experience in procurement, a sharp commercial mind, excellent planning skills, and a solid QA process to ensure top-tier quality throughout the lifecycle of every drylining project.

You will be given a competitive salary up to £85K, with a car or car allowance (£8K), 23 days annual leave, pension, bonus and health benefits. This role will be predominantly London based but may require travel outside of the M25.
