Looking to strengthen their Construction team with a Site Engineer, this company is well renowned for their excellence in delivering civil engineering projects, specifically within the water sector.
The Role
Site based, you will initially be part of the team delivering a Water Treatment Works Upgrade project in Bournemouth. As the Site Engineer, you will report directly to the Site Manager, providing setting out and quality control services to ensure that the contract works are constructed to the specification.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with C.D.M. Regulations and compliance with the Company safe working practices.
- Assist in the preparation of construction programmes, preparation of Method Statements, Action Plans and Risk Assessments.
- Setting out the works.
- Checking site work to ensure compliance with the specification and drawings.
- Agreement of site measurements and records with the client’s staff.
- Assist in maintaining drawing files, drawing register and site filling system.
- Liaise with the design department to ensure updated information is always used.
About The Candidate
You’ll need to have civil engineering experience, ideally within the Water Sector and have the following:
- BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering/Construction
- Levelling & Surveying experience (using total stations & automatic level)
- First Aid at Work
- SMSTS
- EUSR SHEA Water (preferred)
