Project Summary B2E Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Investment Risk and Operations to join our client\’s Investment re-platforming programme. This role involves transitioning to the BlackRock Aladdin platform. The project requires a consultant who: Has a strong understanding of investment data and risk analysis Possesses deep knowledge of derivatives products and risk modelling Has BlackRock Aladdin experience and a good understanding of its applications Key Areas of Work The key services you\’ll provide include: Providing expertise in investment risk modelling, risk sensitivities, and quantitative analytics to support risk management objectives Analyzing and reconciling large and complex data sets Collaborating with stakeholders across front, middle, and back-office functions to understand and document business requirements for the investment re-platforming program Analyzing and mapping current investment processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring a smooth transition to the BlackRock Aladdin platform Working closely with IT teams, external vendors, and other business analysts to ensure seamless integration of the Aladdin platform with existing systems Mandatory Skills/Experience Successful candidates will demonstrate: Extensive experience in investment data and operations/risk functions, with a solid understanding of front-to-back office processes Proven expertise with the BlackRock Aladdin platform, including its applications and functionalities Strong knowledge of derivatives, portfolio management, trading processes, and middle office functions Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in analyzing and reconciling large or complex data sets Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, macros, and preferably SQL Deep understanding of risk modelling, sensitivities, and quantitative analytics Familiarity with Asset and Liability Management (ALM) practices Optional Skills/Experience It is advantageous if you have: Hands-on experience with derivatives market utilities such as MarkitWire, Market Trade Manager, TriOptima, and triResolve Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels A background in financial services, especially asset management or investment banking Experience delivering large-scale technology change projects, particularly in investment re-platforming Consulting Contract Type Inside IR35 #J-18808-Ljbffr
