We are working with a key client that has secured a significant number of framework project wins in the Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire areas. An Assistant Quantity Surveyor is required to be engaged on infrastructure projects in the local area. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be predominantly site based with hybrid working from home, site and Peterborough offices.
The Opportunity
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be part of a commercial team, reporting to a Managing Quantity Surveyor. You will take on responsibility for larger packages of works and work closely with the project team. Our client has a demonstrable and proven process to assist staff with transparent and efficient career progression.
Day to day
- Assisting with procurement of sub-contractors
- Sub-contractor account management
- Maintaining commercial controls on projects
- Close liaison and collaborative team work with the project team and supply chain
- Attend meetings with supply chain and internal teams
You
- A relevant qualification in the Construction/Civil Engineering industry preferred
- Demonstrable working knowledge as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Civil Engineering project experience
