We are currently recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Export Trailer Planner to join our client’s fast-paced team based in Laindon Essex.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am – 17:30pm
Export Trailer Planner Role Overview:
- Plan and schedule trailer movements for export shipments across the UK and Europe
- Coordinate with hauliers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure timely collections and deliveries
- Monitor trailer availability and turnaround times to maximise fleet utilisation
- Manage export bookings, assign loads to trailers, and track progress using in-house systems
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, customer requirements, and company standards
- Resolve planning issues or delays efficiently, keeping all parties updated
- Liaise with customers and provide status updates on trailer movements
- Maintain accurate records and support KPI tracking
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in trailer planning or road freight logistics (preferably in an export environment)
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK and European road networks
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- IT proficiency including planning systems and Microsoft Office
- A keen eye for detail and a focus on compliance and customer service
