As the Production Planner, you will be reporting to the Production Planning Manager with a dotted reporting line into the Head of Supply Chain. You will be expected to manage the production schedule whilst using their integrated software, SAP. As this role is a linchpin to their operation, you will be expected to manage upwards amongst your peers, think quickly, and adapt to changes within the production facility. You will need to communicate clearly with multiple divisions, including Materials, Sales, Production, Engineering, and Logistics.
To be successful in your application for the Production Planner vacancy, you must have proven experience of working as a Production Planner, Materials Scheduler, Demand Planner or a similar role within the Supply Chain. Ideally, you’ll have worked with SAP or a similar integrated MRP/ERP system previously. It would be highly advantageous to have worked within the Aerospace supply chain, but this isn’t crucial to the success of your application.
