Start: ASAP
Location: Downham Market (outskirts), Norfolk
Hours: 40 hours per week (start times between 6am & 8am, Finish times between 3pm and 5pm)
Hourly Rate: £14.46 per hour + Holiday pay
Duration: Temporary – Permanent
We’re working with our client to find reliable and hardworking forklift drivers to join their team. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of variety—no two days are the same! You’ll be helping keep things running smoothly on site, with tasks like loading and unloading trucks, moving stock around using a forklift, and jumping in with general warehouse duties like picking and packing orders. If you’re someone who’s happy to muck in and be part of a busy team, we’d love to hear from you.
Duties will include:
- Operating forklifts to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Supporting shift leaders by ensuring timely movement of stock to meet order targets
- Carrying out visual checks on goods while handling them and reporting any damage or defects
- Transporting packed products to the dispatch area and assisting with final loading if required
- Keeping aisles and storage areas clear and organized for safe forklift operation
- Stacking and storing products securely, following proper weight distribution and safety guidelines
- Assisting in the production and warehouse areas with materials handling using a forklift
Key skills and attributes required:
- Valid Forklift Counterbalance License
- Of fit health for lifting and loading materials
- Experience of working in a warehouse with racking is an advantage
- Ability to work quickly and methodically
- Ability to follow instruction
