Vida Education are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Blackpool. Starting in September, this long-term role involves working closely with students who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), providing them with tailored support to help them succeed in their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with EHCPs on a one-to-one and small group basis.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive and differentiated lessons.
  • Promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour in learning.
  • Contribute to the implementation of individual learning and behaviour plans.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or supporting students with additional needs.
  • Understanding of EHCPs and strategies for supporting SEN pupils.
