Are you passionate about care and ready to jump into shifts at short notice? We are looking for dedicated, flexible individuals to join our team TODAY! We are looking for candidates that can work in regular shifts up to full time shifts in a large locked secured hospital in South Manchester with wards supporting: Rehabilitation and Recovery, Acute, PICU, Adult ED, CAMHS.

Candidates need to be flexible to work across all wards, to provide accurate weekly availability and to also pick up shifts last minute. Sometimes this client can call 20 shifts in and we need to just provide names and arrival times.

Shift variety available - pick what suits you. Last-minute calls! We need people who are ready to go, we have last minute shifts every single day that are needing cover!

Experience required:

  • 6+ months UK experience in a care or support role
  • MAPA trained
  • Experience with learning disabilities, or mental health units
  • Confident with personal care
  • Able to provide 2 years of reference history + overseas police check if applicable

What you will be doing:

  • Supporting vulnerable adults or children as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Handling personal care, emotional support, and emergency situations
  • Keeping accurate care plans and responding to safeguarding concerns
  • Supporting independence wherever possible
