The Brand Manager Tequilas is a key member of the Emerging Brand team and a highly motivated marketer looking to shape the future of an exciting portfolio in a very dynamic category!

Meaningful Work From Day One

The brand manager is responsible for driving profitable growth by building the strategic plans of his/her portfolio and ensuring best in class execution collaborating closely with the key UK & Global stakeholders. This is a role which requires a strong ability to advocate & champion the brands within the business.

What You Can Expect

  • Value Creation
    • Development of long-term and annual brand plans seeking approval from local, regional and global brand stakeholders.
    • Guardian of the brand P&Ls - optimising strategy, investment, pricing & promotions across channels & SKU mix while monitoring brand performance and implementing corrective actions.
    • Manage and track the A&P budgets for the brand including regular meetings with finance and budget owners to track spend.
  • Strategic Relationships & Partnerships
    • Lead and champion the brand and shape the direction and growth of the different expressions with the support of the Head of Marketing.
    • Partner closely with the Assistant Brand Manager on multiple projects while actively participating in the ABM development plan.
    • Develop strong working relationships with internal, external (creative, media and BTL agencies) and global stakeholders.
    • Act as a role model of B-F values.
  • Drive for results
    • Bring the brand plans to life by delivering best in class communication strategies and activation plans partnering closely with the UK cross functional team (Customer Marketing, Advocacy, Prestige and Sales).
    • Work with the BBI team (Brand and Business Insights) to measure and review all relevant research data information and identify insights to unlock growth.
    • Partner with the Head of Marketing to drive the communication agenda of the brand in the UK as well as championing a test & learn approach.
    • Strongly partner with production and global team to ensure UK needs are fulfilled.

What You Bring to the Table

  • FMCG/Spirit background.
  • Previous marketing experience building brands within a dynamic and fragmented category.
  • Experience in (operational) responsibility in ATL and BTL activities.
  • Experience working closely with PR agencies and managing earned media campaigns.
  • Strong & proven commercial skills.
  • Passion for brands and able to translate this into “ambassador” style of attitude and behaviour to the rest of the organisation.
  • On Trade knowledge and/or experience would be a plus.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written - Superior communication skills (influencing, listening, presentations, written).
