As a Business Technology Leader within a Client Engineering squad, you\’ll partner with Technical Leaders across IBM sales teams and specialists to drive these experiential client engagements. As a seasoned leader and innovative strategist, you\’ll spearhead business development by qualifying and prioritizing Client Engineering engagements and leading your team in executing the client experience. Excellent onboarding training will set you up for success, with ongoing development to advance your career. Our fast-paced, supportive sales environment encourages continuous learning and collaboration, focusing on creating MVPs and proofs of concept that prioritize user-centricity and business impact, while ensuring clients continually invest in IBM\’s offerings. Your Role and Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management: Manage and coach diverse, high-performing technical pre-sales teams with digital and project delivery skills. Culture Development: Foster a culture of agility, pragmatism, and speed, emphasizing continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Engagement Management: Oversee engagement close-out processes and ensure smooth hand-offs. Industry & Technology Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on industry and technology trends, applying thought leadership in areas such as hybrid cloud, data & AI, security, storage, and IT architecture. Qualifications & Experience Minimum Requirements Proven leadership in complex technology sales environments, with a track record of team success and business development. Excellent communication, collaboration, and networking skills, including influence at executive levels and closing substantial deals. Extensive experience with cloud technologies addressing enterprise challenges. Strong financial modeling, business case evaluation, and strategic planning skills. Mastery of agile project management ensuring timely, within-budget delivery. Preferred Skills & Education Proficiency in hybrid cloud solutions and AI, with willingness to undergo IBM-specific training. Experience guiding clients through pre-sales processes. Educational background with an MBA or equivalent qualification.
