Job descriptionThe company – one of Europe’s leading exponents of Plating on Plastics, having been operating since 1965. Supplying an electroplating on plastics service in the UK and working with a range of customers in the Sanitaryware, Domestic Appliance, Brewery, Display, Automotive and Electronics Industries, we have established ourselves as an invaluable member of the supply chain, on average processing and despatching in excess of 40,000 parts a day.Key Responsibilities* Surface Polish: Remove surface defects on plastic components to achieve high spec finish* Achieve Polished Results: Work with various tools, abrasives, and compounds to deliver high-standard surface finishes.The Job* Undertaking the final polish of freshly sprayed components.* Rectifying any paint defects, such as runs in the paint.* Polishing using a handheld dual action polisher.* Ensure the component is finished to the correct standards ready for quality control inspection.* Ensure any scratches or swirls in the paint are polished out.Pay – £12ph-£15ph competitive pay rates based on previous experience Area – Great BarrStart date – immediate Working hours – 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday Please submit CV in the first instance Previous experience essential Should you require any support or assistance, please contact your local Gi Group office.
