Our Client is a well-established leading Building Services Consultancy offering a range of services including Surveys, Feasibility Studies, Report and Advisory Work, Design, Building Modelling and Thermal Simulation, Construction Monitoring and Supervision, Project Management, Energy Advice, BREEAM Assessments, Expert Witness. Their experience encompasses all types of projects including Commercial, Leisure, Retail, Residential, Mixed Use, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Scientific, Technology, Historic and Law & Order.
They are looking to appoint an experienced MEP Revit Coordinator to work closely with the mechanical and electrical design team.
The Position
As the senior MEP Coordinator you will be leading a £25M mixed use new build development, comprising of 16 storey residential and 21 storey commercial units. You will be responsible for creating and managing building information models (BIM) using Autodesk Revit software. Your main duties will be to produce accurate and detailed models of mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) schemes.
Responsibilities:
- Taking outline design mark ups and creating and managing Revit MEP models using Autodesk Revit software.
- Working with Engineers and attending external meetings in a support capacity.
- Coordinating your MEP design with external models and 2D drawings, carrying out clash detection and finding and implementing solutions.
- Creating construction documentation such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and details in 2D and 3D.
- Managing relevant project incoming and outgoing information and documentation.
- Creating and maintaining project templates and standards to ensure consistency across all projects.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in Revit and BIM modelling.
The Person
- Minimum 5 years Revit experience.
- Navisworks experience.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Experience with COBie Data.
- Familiarity with BIM Level 2 Standards.
- Management of PHP Team.
