Building Surveyor

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Building Surveyor to join our established client in the Newark area. What you’ll be doing:  Working as part of a small Building Surveying team that are involved in a variety of different sectors, including commercial, industrial, education, residential and heritage.  Current areas of work include:  Small project works, including specification writing, Schedules of work, preparing JCT Contracts and Contract Administration role.  Condition reports.  Party Wall Awards.  Diagnosis and remedy of building defects.  Pre-acquisition reports.  Preparation of dilapidation reports.  Negotiation of dilapidation claims. What we’re looking for:  A degree qualified, Chartered Building Surveyor.  Experience in some, or all, of the above aspects of Building Surveying.  Minimum 5 years experience.  Ability to use AutoCAD desirable, but not essential.  Proficiency in MS Office Suite essential.  GoReport software experience desirable, but not essential.  Full driving license.
