In this role, you\βll provide tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of business clients, manage a portfolio of clients, and oversee junior staff members. You\βll also collaborate with Directors/Partners on client work and group management and actively participate in special assignments and advisory projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of businesses, from OMBs and SMEs to larger corporates
- Handling corporate tax provisioning, compliance, and advisory work for your portfolio
- Engaging in various business tax work, such as ad-hoc advisory, international tax matters, R&D tax credits, and awareness of VAT and employment tax aspects
- Assisting with transactional and due diligence work when needed
- Collaborating with Partners and showcasing effective management skills
- Conducting staff appraisals and monitoring performance
- Providing on-the-job training for junior staff and addressing their questions
