What You’ll Be Doing
- Editing viral video content — Recut raw footage and JD’s extensive content archive into gripping edits that hook fast and keep audiences watching.
- Managing the Facebook page — Posting daily, scheduling ahead, monitoring comments, and keeping the page healthy and growing.
- Understanding the brand — Your edits and captions reflect the tone, energy, and values of the brand.
- Repurposing content strategically — Turn 3-min clips into a sharp 1-min cut, then a 30-second version, then a 5-second hook.
- Thumbnails that grab — You know what makes a scroll-stopping thumbnail and can spot it or create it from scratch.
- Creative captioning — Craft punchy captions, and spark conversation in the comments.
- Analyzing performance — Watch what’s working. Learn fast. Double down. You’ll review insights and shape strategy accordingly.
- Executing the content strategy daily — Consistent and Creative - we’re building a brand with intent, and we need someone obsessed with executing flawlessly.
Who You Are
- A strong video editor with great comedic timing and emotional pacing.
- Deeply familiar with Facebook as a platform—what works, what doesn’t.
- A fast mover and self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do.
- Fluent in social media culture, memes, viral trends, and content dynamics.
- Coachable, collaborative, and driven by impact.
- Bonus if you’ve worked with influencers or viral brands before.
