My client is a well-established business in the stockholding and logistics industry, dominating the market for over 30 years. Iβm seeking an individual eager to join a growing site as they continue to expand and develop. This role works closely with all departments, particularly Warehouse and Transport.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transport operations β schedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers efficiently.
- Monitor fleet and delivery performance β track vehicle usage, delivery timelines, and optimize routes.
- Implement and maintain systems β introduce and manage Transport Management Systems (TMS) or logistics software to streamline operations.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers β ensure clear communication for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure regulatory compliance β uphold safety, legal, and operational standards.
- Manage documentation β maintain accurate transport logs, vehicle maintenance records, and compliance reports.
- Identify and solve operational issues β respond promptly to delays, breakdowns, or routing problems.
- Support efficiency initiatives β analyze data to improve cost control, fuel efficiency, and scheduling.
- Coordinate team activities β supervise and support drivers, warehouse staff, and logistics personnel.
- Train staff on new systems β educate team members on using new tools and technologies effectively.
