Resource Planning Analyst (18 month contract)

Contract Employment Status: FTC - Full-Time

The Resource & Planning department perform many essential roles in the day to day and future running of the business from understanding contact demand and business sizing three years out right down to on day delivery of the plan.

You must have experience in resource planning, workforce management, capacity planning or a similar analytical role. Must be highly numerical with experience of analysing large and complicated data sets to understand trends and patterns. Have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate comfortably with stakeholders at all levels of the business. Strong Excel and G-Sheet skills highly desirable. Experience of forecasting and forecast methodology highly desirable. Experience working with the NICE eWFM system with an in-depth understanding of key set-up and processes.

This is 18 month contract is a hybrid role working from one of our London hubs 2 days per week.

As an Analyst with the Forecast & Scheduling team you will be responsible for the forecasting, planning and scheduling of several workstreams, ensuring the business plans to achieve against its targets and any risks or opportunities are highlighted well in advance.

What you’ll do and how you will make an impact:

  • Work with the Forecast and Scheduling Manager to maintain and further develop detailed tactical forecasts covering the next 5 weeks and ensure that all emerging trends are identified and understood and all change and marketing activities are assessed and reflected.
  • Build up to date forecasts to ensure “best fit” scheduling of FTE is accomplished to achieve the best possible service levels for our customers – as part of this you will be required to own the scheduling of team and business events utilising our NICE eWFM.
  • Maintain detailed capacity plans ensuring that agreed shrinkage and performance targets are understood and reflected, current FTE actuals are accurate and all future requirements are reflected.
  • As the first point of contact for any R&P related queries your business units may have, you will also meet with them on a weekly and monthly basis to discuss the plan for the upcoming weeks, facilitating decision making and reflecting potential impacts of potential resolutions.
  • Additionally, you will look back at performance against plan, using this information to further enhance planning going forwards.
  • Work closely with the Service Delivery Team to understand where scheduling has gone well and where reactive action has been taken in order to constantly review and improve scheduling approach.
  • Undertake ad-hoc data analysis as requested by operational departments and the Forecast and Scheduling Manager.
