Finance Manager

We\’re partnering with a well-established, forward-thinking business that\’s looking for a Finance Manager to join them on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who\’s confident stepping into a busy finance function and making an immediate impact. The Role: Initially, your focus will be on the day-to-day transactional finance side: Overseeing the AP/AR and payroll functions Managing and supporting a small finance team Ensuring smooth running of daily financial operations Reviewing processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency As you settle in, the role will naturally evolve into a broader Finance Manager position, with exposure to: Month-end close and reporting Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Business partnering with non-finance teams Supporting the Financial Controller/FD with ad hoc projects What They\’re Looking For: A qualified or QBE Finance Manager with strong transactional finance experience Previous experience managing or mentoring a team Hands-on, adaptable, and confident working in a fast-paced environment Strong systems skills Key Details: Start: ASAP Type: Temporary (initial 3-6 months, potential to extend or go perm) Location: Chippenham Rate: From £40,000 or £175 per day
