Clarkson Owens are delighted to be working with a leading specialist within Commercial Property and Asset Management looking for a Building Manager to join their Edinburgh office.
Duties Include:
- Occupier Management
- Efficient management of the site including day to day management of team members.
- Ability to manage contractors to ensure that maintenance is carried out correctly.
- Monitoring statutory and internal compliance
- Work closely with surveying colleagues and central support functions to ensure client strategy is executed
Essential skills:
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrable experience in client and customer engagement.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience in contract management and managing KPIs.
- Good experience in developing service charge budgets management and reporting.
- IOSH
- Experience of working in a similar role
Desirable:
- NEBOSH qualified
- Member of the IWFM
- Interest in sustainability.
- Good understanding of property management principles and current industry trends.
- Knowledge of building services maintenance operations.
