Senior Engineer - Piling

Dewey Group is actively seeking experienced Senior Engineers with a strong background in piling to support a number of major infrastructure projects across the UK. These are high-value, technically complex developments offering a fantastic opportunity for skilled engineers to play a key role in delivering critical works nationwide. We are currently recruiting for multiple positions and are keen to hear from candidates with experience in all piling techniques. Key Responsibilities: * Support the planning, coordination, and execution of piling operations on large-scale projects. * Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, and site teams to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. * Carry out technical reviews of piling methods, ground conditions, and equipment use. * Oversee quality control, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards. * Maintain detailed engineering records, progress updates, and technical documentation. * Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting and resolving challenges during live operations. * Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. Essential Skills & Experience: * Significant experience as a Senior Engineer within piling or ground engineering. * Strong knowledge of rotary and/or rotary-driven piling techniques. * Familiarity with geotechnical and construction principles on large-scale projects. * Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills. * Previous work in regulated sectors (e.g., energy, utilities, infrastructure) is desirable. Desirable: * HNC/Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering. * Experience producing RAMS, ITPs, and other technical documentation. * Knowledge of digital field systems and construction quality processes.
